In this project, the causes indicating advanced deterioration of the Dos Hermanos Bridge were assessed. Field inspections were conducted to locate cracks and areas of efflorescence in the structure, to determine the potential for corrosion and chloride concentration, and to determine material properties. Rehabilitation plans were prepared to correct deficiencies observed and control further spread of corrosion activity in structural elements.
